Kolob Canyon View

Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and they pass by themselves without wondering.
― Saint Augustine

I have never been to this part of the Zion National Park before. In order to get here you need to drive around the park to the north west and then take the Kolob Canyon Road that winds all the way up to this observation point.

When I got there the light wasn't that good. It was mostly overcast. I was sitting on the edge of the cliff, waiting for the proper light and thinking about other planets that we might yet to discover. I was trying to imagine that what I see in front of me is some other world that I happened to visit and explore. It was truly a remarkable and such a real feeling. I thought how lucky I am that I can experience and capture these moments.
